Upon entering the Associate Polarity Practitioner Program (APP), students will apply for membership with the APTA. New members can pro-rate fees for the first year of membership. Membership is renewed by December 31st of each year. Checks or money orders are made payable to the APTA. A form is available from your Approved Training Manager or can be downloaded off the APTA website.

Upon completing the APP Program, students and the Approved Training Manager, will fill out the Application for Associate Polarity Practitioner for APTA approval. One must remain a member of APTA in order to use the APP designation.
APP Fees:
One Time Application Fee for APP Status: $135.00
APP Yearly Membership Renewal to Maintain Status: $ 93.50
As an APP you must complete 15 hours of continuing education every 2 years, beginning after the first full year of APP status.
- To provide an organization for persons engaged in the study and practice of Polarity Therapy and to establish policies and procedures for membership.
- To establish and uphold Standards for Practice and Education, and to confer status upon Polarity Practitioners and Educators.
- To prescribe and uphold a Code of Professional Ethics.
- To promote communication among Polarity Therapy practitioners, instructors, students and anyone interested in Polarity therapy.
- To develop professional, ethical and responsible relations with other health professionals and the general public.
- To act as an information center, encouraging the availability of publications, media exchange, trainings, workshops, conferences, and a Resource Directory of APTA Membership, National and International.
- To function as a vehicle for research in the field of Polarity Therapy.
- To interface with all similar non-profit Polarity Therapy Associations formed outside of the USA for the purpose of worldwide communication regarding the common theories and Standards for Practice and Education for Polarity Therapy.

RPP Yearly Membership Renewal to Maintain Status: $137.50
As an RPP you must complete 15 hours of continuing education every 2 years, beginning after the first full year of RPP status.

Professional Liability Insurance:
If you would like to purchase professional liability insurance from APTA, please contact them. Remember, you must be a current member in order to qualify and have this insurance be valid. In some states with massage laws that do not exempt Polarity Therapy-this insurance may not protect you unless you meet local requirements in addition to your APTA status.
