I believe that nature, in its elegant grace and phenomenal abundance, contains an inherent energy that weaves the fabric of life. That it is full of mystery, magic and miracles, and that the “ordinary” is truly extra-ordinary. Its shapes, patterns, textures and array of vibrant colors fascinate and rejuvenate me. Its movement and rhythm nourish and inspire me.

I am a self-taught photographer who re-discovered an appreciation for nature while living a “back to the land” lifestyle. My photography has been described as, “elegant”, “O'Keefe like,” and “inspiring.” It invites you to explore the detail and intricacy of our natural world, and to celebrate and honor the exquisite beauty of water, ice, light, shadow, flowers and foliage. Those images evolve into: Shadow Play, Kaleidoscope, Diva and Sorbet. Photographed from the gorgeous gardens that grace my home, and from my surrounding landscape, they all represent the true colors of nature.
